How should Christians react about same marriage? Political action? Support ministries to help heal gays?

I don't like to see churches get directly involved in political issues as a church organization. But we do live in a democracy which means individual Christians, including Evangelicals, Mormons and Catholics can all vote. Also, there are growing ministries focused on bringing Gods healing to s so they can become heteroual and live a normal life, or at least learn to be abstinant if they still struggle with same- desires. Many gays who have become Christians have been successfully healed and are now in normal heteroual marriages. Many others are Christians who may still have same desires, but are living celibate lives as productive Christians.
