What do you think is the biggest characteristic of being considered interesting?

What in your opinion would decide whether a person is extremely interesting or not? For instance, most people believe that having a sense of humor is the hallmark of being considered interesting. Are there any others? The most interesting person who ever lived is also considered Adolf Hitler (who made the ogy that Jews were also like people, like flies were also animals)
