I'm talking real anime people any ideas?

Now, don't get me wrong series like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, ext... ext... Even D-Gray Man are all well and great, but those little anime with only 12-14 episodes have really been drawing me in. And I was wondering, anyone know of any good ones, because i can't seem to find any lately, I just watched Togainu no Chi and Gintama, loved them both if you could tell my taste, I perfer anime like Elfen Lied style of anime, or even Prince of Tennis, I really, really enjoy the style Gintama was in if you know what i mean, like the quality of the artwork, none of that Vampire Princess Miyu style please. I recently saw well today actually the first episode of Nabari no O, loved it with a pion, those tiny tiny shoulders always got me. So. Any suggestions if you're still with me? x3
