Set in concrete. Do you find this with your poetry?

Actually for me it's the opposite. I have a hard time seeing flaws in what I've just written. After about 6 months to a year I begin to see the flaws in the poem and am able to revise it. That said, writing is rewriting. Writing well is understanding that everything is a draft for awhile--so I try to remain flexible.
