Clothes sizing in Bangkok?

In Thailand they use UK sizes, American sizes, Thai sizes, you name it, and none of it means much of anything. What might be an extra large in one store or market may be a medium in another. Don't buy any clothes without trying them on, sizes don't mean much here and some clothes won't even have a label with a size marked on it.
