Underage didn't show up to court?

My situation is this. Im 17 and in may i drove without a license because my friend was beyond drunk so i offered to drive. I thought this was the best idea, but apparently not. I got pulled over for no headlights, and the officer was kind enough to just give me a driving without a license ticket. So i had court June 16, and the citation said to send in X amount of money to the courthouse, which i did. Its now July and im in a different country and my mother informed me that i recieved a letter saying i didnt show up to court. My cousin who is a lawyer told me that you cant send in cash to the courthouse which is what i did. Im uming now i have a warrent for my arrest. Help, Advice, any pardons i could use, first offenders, expunge? Please help me.
