What is with america and guns? why is most american people outraged by the idea of antigun laws?

Our government is blatently trying to take away our freedoms that are clearly expressed in our Constitution; the real issue; with respect to your question, is whether the second amendment actually affords absolutely unrestricted gun control, or not.
