Can stress or antibiotics affect period?

I took a z pack for bronchitis within the same week of ovulating. (And quit smoking too) Now my period is late 5 days. HPT tests are negative. Only had once protected. Doc wont let me blood test until two weeks late. Nervous out of my mind!
